Custom StreetFighter4 Kicksby ~deviantkrook

Artisan Crafts / Textiles / Clothing

Commissioned piece done for a friend who's obsessed with (and kicks ass at!) Street Fighter 4. Honda and 'Sim are his main soldiers.

I'll post the insteps, which feature Ryu and Blanka (his "other" main characters), in another post.

I usually customize Converse Chucks, so this was a nice take on a new "canvas".

I used India Ink; for the red, I was able to find somewhat of an equivalent to India Ink--a little watered down, but it held pretty well.

Dude, these are AWESOME! They look really cool.

Are the images just painted on? And if so, will they eventually fade if you try washing them or if they stay out in the rain?

How much would you charge for something like this? I would like a similar pattern, but on these shoes. [link]

My friend rocks his SF4 kicks everywhere and he hasn't really said anything about them bleeding. (my only concern was the red ink fading)

The images are painted on with India Ink, so that bad boy aint goin' NOWHERE. I wouldn't wash them, but if you need to clean the rubber areas, I recommend rubbing alcohol.

I would totally do this design on some Chucks if that's what you want--only thing is the turn-around time. (a couple weeks maybe) Let me know what cha got in mind...Thanks again!
